Terms of Contract
This dog is guaranteed against any communicable diseases for five days from the date buyer picks up dog. If the dog dies from any communicable disease such as (Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis or Parainfluenza) within five days and when proof is provided by a licensed veterinarian, a full refund shall be made or the dog shall be replaced by one of equal or greater value.
Once the dog is sold the seller is not responsible for any injury, disease, parasitic agents, trauma, and neglect and improper care of dog which is out of seller’s control. The dog has received 1st series of vaccinations, dewormed, eye examination and has health clearance from a licensed veterinarian. All buyers must get their dog microchipped. If the dog is not picked up by the age of nine weeks, buyer forfeits deposit and dog may be resold. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter dog no later than 12 months.
This dog is registered with American Kennel Club (AKC) and Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) and papers will be supplied to the buyer at the time of sale or as soon as they are received from the registry. Buyer agrees to pay for AKC and ASCA registration. This dog is being sold on a spay/neuter basis only and is not to be used for breeding purposes. Registration papers are marked accordingly. No other guarantees implied or otherwise are included. The use of the name “Flamin T” is required in the puppy’s registered name. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide proper care, training, socialization, and development of talents for this dog.
Seller guarantees dog is free of canine hip dysplasia and any hereditary or congenital eye defects which would require corrective measures (surgery) or prolonged veterinary care or medication. If this dog displays any of these defects it will be replaced by one of equal or greater value when one becomes available. The affected dog must be spayed or neutered and proof from a licensed veterinarian provided before said refund or replacement shall be given. The original dog may be kept by the buyer or returned to the seller. Any defects must be verified in writing by a licensed veterinarian. Hip dysplasia must be confirmed by an OFA rating of borderline to severely dysplastic. Eye defects which do not pass a C.E.R.F. exam and require corrective measures must be confirmed by a veterinary ophthalmologist. This guarantee does not cover conditions occurring due to accident or negligence.
Below signed buyer agrees to notify seller if at any time it should become necessary to sell or place the dog in another home. Flamin T Australian Shepherd will accept any dog it has sold back into its care at any time with no questions asked, however, a refund will not be issued. Said dog will be altered and rehomed at the seller’s expense.
